We value your privacy and want to be transparent about how we handle your data. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it to provide you with the best gaming experience.
To provide and improve Word Bomb, we collect:
We only collect what's necessary to run the game, maintain fair play, and prevent abuse.
Your data helps us:
We will never sell your personal data to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
Important information about our moderation team: To keep Word Bomb fair and safe, we work with trusted volunteer moderators from our community. These moderators help us handle reports, investigate rule violations, and maintain a positive environment for all players.
As part of their moderation duties, volunteer moderators may access certain user data including IP addresses (for web visitors only), gameplay history, and reported content when investigating specific incidents. We carefully vet our moderators and require them to follow strict confidentiality guidelines. However, as volunteers are not employees, we cannot guarantee complete control over their actions.
By using Word Bomb, you understand and accept that volunteer moderators may access your data for legitimate moderation purposes. While we take this responsibility seriously and work to minimize risks, you agree that any disputes arising from data handling by moderators will be resolved individually through arbitration rather than through class action lawsuits.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information using industry-standard security practices. Your data is stored on secure servers with restricted access. However, like all online services, we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use strong passwords and follow good security practices on Discord.
Word Bomb operates as a Discord Activity and integrates with Discord's platform. We follow Discord's API policies and Terms of Service. Information from your Discord profile (such as your username, ID, and avatar) is used for gameplay and social features like leaderboards and friend lists.
We use trusted third-party services for hosting, analytics, and other technical operations. These providers have their own privacy policies and security measures. We choose partners carefully, but we're not responsible for their independent privacy practices.
We retain gameplay data and user information as long as necessary to operate the service and provide you with features like leaderboards and statistics. IP addresses (collected only for web visitors) are automatically deleted after 3 months and are immediately removed when you delete your account.
If you delete your account, we remove your personal data while we may retain anonymized gameplay statistics for game balancing and development purposes.
You have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal data. Contact us through our Discord server to submit a request, and we'll process it promptly. When you delete your account, all your personal information including any IP addresses will be removed from our systems.
Word Bomb is available globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in different countries, which may have different privacy laws than your home country. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.
Word Bomb is intended for users aged 13 and older, in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and applicable laws. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you through Discord or the game. Continuing to use Word Bomb after updates means you accept the revised policy.
If you have questions or concerns about your privacy, please reach out through our official Discord server. We're here to help and will do our best to address your concerns promptly.
